SOUND FAMILIAR?

When you're coaching without outside input, it's easy to hit a wall.

You've completed your coach training, taken on clients, and launched your practice. Fantastic! I applaud your courage. But working in a vacuum, you may find yourself stuck in limiting patterns and habits that keep you from being the powerful, transformational presence you want to be for others.

Reaching for the same tools

Your results are diminishing, you're resting comfortably in what you "know," and you're not sure how to break into the next level.

A crisis of confidence

Clients aren't showing up for appointments, re-enrolling, or signing up after a complimentary session.

A loud inner critic

You're tired of being beaten up by your own inner critic about your coaching results.

Coaching mastery is an ongoing process. Working with a qualified mentor coach is a proven way to take your coaching to the next level, and to build confidence in the value of what you offer as a professional coach.
"If you have ever considered pursuing ICF credentialing, I encourage you to enroll in the mentor coaching program led by Carrie Doubts. Through her mentoring, my coaching skills have significantly expanded and deepened. She explains the ICF requirements and Core Competencies in a way that makes them clear and I was able to implement and integrate them right away. ... Her patience and clarity with my process ... was truly exceptional. I really felt heard and acknowledged during each step of my journey. And, celebrating my PCC credentialing by phone with her last week was an added gift!"

WORKING WITH ME

Mentor coaching that makes the ICF Core Competencies clear.

I'm a certified Mentor Coach providing individual and group mentor coaching for practicing coaches pursuing ICF certification at the ACC and PCC levels. I've mentored student coaches at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and provided mentoring and supervision for the coaching team at Journey Beyond Divorce.

If your coach training didn't include mentor coaching, I can help. Over three months, you'll receive the required 10 hours of mentor coaching focused on your coaching skills (not on building your business or personal coaching). I know the behaviors that demonstrate each of the 8 Core Competencies, so I can demystify the evaluative criteria and help you feel confident, before you apply, that you have what it takes.

I love everything about coaching, and I'm passionate about helping coaches become powerful, confident professionals who partner with clients to break through what's holding them back and make sustainable progress toward their heartfelt goals.

THE ICF CREDENTIAL

Why consider an ICF credential?

Coaching isn't a regulated field. The ICF is the organization that sets the industry standards for core competencies and upholds ethical practice for coaches. There are great coaches who aren't credential holders, and whether to pursue a credential is a personal decision. Here's what it can offer you:

Credibility and professionalism

Research shows that people hiring coaches feel more confident choosing a credentialed coach who meets the ICF's standards of excellence.

Access to opportunities

Some companies will only hire certified coaches to work with their employees.

Community and continued learning

Network with fellow coaches, access ICF research, and take advanced training at ICF conferences and events.

Referral listing

ICF member coaches are eligible to be listed on the ICF website, which can generate referrals for your business.

From my own experience: there was something very strengthening about calling myself forward to undergo the evaluative process for PCC credentialing. It has supported me extremely well in becoming a better coach, and in being confident that I have what it takes to powerfully serve my clients.
